Job Title:Temporary Finance Manager
Description:Temporary Finance Manager - UK The purpose of this role is to manage our clients finance function on a daily basis providing a first class, essential financial service across all sections of our clients business. Main tasks will include- To support the Finance Director to meet the evolving financial needs. To control management accounts production ensuring presentation is accurate and timely each and every month. To prepare and collate all data and documentation for month end procedures. To prepare and collate figures in order to support applications and returns to external funding bodies as directed by the Finance Director. To manage the staff within the Finance Department, ensuring that the clients policies and procedures are observed at all times. To participate in the Performance Management policy acting as reviewer and coach, identifying realistic objectives and ensuring staff are given appropriate development opportunities by identifying training needs. To keep under review and develop the structures, procedures and working methods for which the post holder is responsible to ensure an integrated, effective and efficient approach to the delivery of services. To support the Finance Director in the development and maintenance of finance processes that ensure efficient and cost effective delivery of services. To be fully conversant with relevant statutory provisions and company policies, processes and procedures; to develop the full range of skills and knowledge to satisfy the requirements of the post. Be aware and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health & safety, security, confidentiality and data protection reporting all concerns to an appropriate person. To undertake any other duties as may be specified from time to time by the Finance Director. This is a 3 month temporary position to cover maternity leave. Please apply immediately.
