Description:Assistant Manager - Preston, Lancashire Assistant Manager Salary: up to £20,000 + Benefits + performance related bonus First Year Estimated OTE: £23,000+ Location: Preston Role Profile: My client established in 1998 as a niche financial services agency with 23 branches operating throughout England and Wales offering such services as secured and unsecured lending, property buy back and cheque cashing services on site. My clients pride themselves on supplying a fast and friendly service to their customers. Due to recent expansion and the opening of a new branch in Preston my clients are able to offer a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join this newly opened yet very successful branch. The loans and finance provided are generally secured against the customer’s vehicle. The role itself is split between sales, debt management and debt collection. The majority of your time will be spent in the branch reporting to the branch manager although there will be occasions when you are required to perform a field call. You will be working in a target driven environment and your bonus will be based upon the performance of the branch, in essence the better the branch is performing overall the higher your bonus will be. Candidate Profile: Although this is a newly opened branch, the branch has been up and running for several months and the existing branch manager has performed the initial “leg work” to get the branch to where it is now you will be expected to play a key role in growing the local customer base and building the profit ability of the branch. The successful candidate will be an aspiring, ambitious individual who wants to take the next step in their career within a company that has a reputation for developing talent form within. In order to be successful in this role you must be able to show the following qualities: · Outstanding customer relations · Leadership and communication skills · Strong commercial awareness · A proven track record in sales · Good PC and numeracy skills A background in financial services especially with experience of sales or collections would be a distinct advantage but is not essential to the role.
