Description:Claims Handler - SWD-65 - Swindon, Wiltshire Job Description To manage, handle and administer UK general retail commercial claims from cradle to grave. This is a permanent full time role. Key Objectives To complete the daily allocation of diary To ensure that all cheques received are actioned on the day of receipt. To ensure that any legal papers received are actioned on the day of receipt. To complete the daily allocation of post. To complete audit and review client reports. To complete and release authenticated QAF 35's and or QAF 86's To ensure that all statistical and system records are kept up to date. General Duties & Tasks To review all incoming post then action accordingly. To assist with the entering of new claims. To request pertinent policy information from the respective producing areas. To check all diary items and action appropriately. To process the internal cheque requests. To provide weekly workflow information of work status to the manager To receive review and audit all client reports before formal release. To verify all completed QAF 35's and or QAF 86's before release Key Skills & Experience This role would suit candidates with strong administration/customer service experience willing and able to learn and develop their knowledge of insurance. Previous motor insurance experience would be a definite advantage. Candidates must have a methodical approach, attention to detail and a head for numbers. A confident phone manner and the ability to keep calm under pressure are essential.
Salary Range:15000 - 18000/annum
