Our client has recently been awarded the title of Large Accountancy Firm of the Year. It is the 12th largest accountancy and advisory firm in the UK with strong growth aspirations. The firm has the largest internal audit client list for educational clients in the UK, together with an existing work stream of educational consultancy.
A senior consultant with skills in performance improvement and strategic change to develop and grow our education practice, who is also able to apply cross-sectoral skills to other areas of the public sector as required.

? Process review and BPR
? Lean & Systems Thinking
? Financial Management
? Strategic Reviews and improvement
? Procurement review & Improvement
? Risk Management
? Hands on practical consultant, who is prepared to get stuck into sorting out the problems our clients face
? First hand experience of the problems facing clients in the HE & FE sector
? Credibility and track record within public sector consulting work
? CIPFA or CA qualified
? Very good interpersonal/communication/ presentational skills
? Capable of working to tight deadlines and maintain quality
? IT literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint , Access etc)
? Team player capable of working on own initiative
? Able to travel throughout the UK : like hotels and motorway driving
? Proven ability in business development
? High level of understanding of the issues & opportunities facing HE & FE organizations
? Capable of using your skill set across different sectors if required
? Good project manager
Hands on operational experience of HE & FE
Experience in man management
Experience in delivering the key products in the product set
