An ACA/ACCA finalist or qualified Audit Senior is required in their London office.
The Purpose of Job will be:
To provide a high quality service to clients in respect of various financial reporting
and statutory requirements
To supervise and guide junior team members
To represent Tenon in a professional and efficient manner
Your Principal Responsibilities will be as follows:
Preparation and audit of statutory accounts
Undertaking due diligence work on media and other businesses
Advising on a wide array of general business matters relevant to clients
Conducting other ?special` work such as valuations and royalty investigations with assistance
Working with junior members of staff and providing guidance and on the job training.
Complies with institute and government legislation when carrying out work
Manages workload to ensure all tasks are completed according to deadlines and budgets set
Liaising with clients to ensure that information is received in sufficient time to prepare accounts
Management of WIP and billing
Able to carry out ad hoc assignments with assistance
Investigates all audit issues to arrive at a proposal or solution
Take responsibility for own workload and performance indicators
To identify opportunities for additional work/ cross selling
Accountabilities/Key Performance Indicators
Client and statutory deadlines are met or exceeded (client focus, managing self and others, goal/results focus)
High quality service provided to all clients (client focus, attention to detail/quality)
Understands and prepares financial statements correctly (technical, problem solving)
Understands and has knowledge of relevant accounting and auditing standards (technical)
WIP process managed effectively ensuring department remains within budget (goal/results focus, commercial awareness)
To be considered for this post all applicants will have the following qualification/attributes
ACA/ACCA finalist or qualified
Motivated to provide the highest quality service to clients
Excellent accounting skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to liaise with people at all levels
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively for self and other members of the team
