Description:Internal Audit Client Manager - Bucks/Beds/Herts/E - Bucks,Beds. Herts, Essex, Northants, east midlands, South Internal Audit Client Manager - Bucks/Beds/Herts/Essex/Northants - £33,000 - £40,000 DOE Our client the fastest growing firm of Chartered Accountants in the UK requires an Internal Audit Client Manager for their Bucks/Beds/Herts/Essex/Northants locations Reporting to the Director your will be responsible for undertaking managerial and operational activities, managing a portfolio of clients and a team of staff to support the Director and Partner. To be considered for this post all applicants should have the following essential skills and experiences: 4- 5years internal audit experience Be fully qualified CCAB or IIA Good oral and written communication skills, able to express ideas with clarity and purpose. Able to encourage good leadership and teamwork. Experience of training, coach and developing team members and provide support Experience of managing teams of at least three members of staff. Ability and experience of managing a portfolio of clients and team of staff. Able to review and control technical content of work of others to ensure compliance with the audit manual. Able to undertake and control larger more complex assignments and ad-hoc one off special assignments as required Computer Literate in Word/Excel etc Self-motivated and able to work on won initiative, including being proactive and keeping up to date with technical developments Demonstrates confidence in a client environment Able to plan and control budgets of own work and the work of others Able to achieve a healthy work life balance and manage time effectively Car driver Flexible about travel The following skills and experiences are desirable: Knowledge of the public sector. Experience of attending audit committees and presenting findings. Experience of attending tender presentations for new work. Be able to review and control technical content of work of others to ensure compliance with the audit. Your key responsibilities will be: To assist and advise the Director and Partner on the formulation and review of audit plans, including the audit needs assessment and annual reports. To manage an audit team including staff motivation, discipline and technical guidance. To manage an audit team, embracing assignment planning, programming, conduct and control of audit work and reporting findings. To provide job training and guidance for senior auditors, auditors and training for trainee auditors. To perform the audit of more complex systems to attend audit committee as required, preparing progress and annual reports to ensure that assignments are completed to time and budget to be aware of, and act upon, additional work opportunities at existing new clients and new work at potential clients. To ensure target recoveries are achieved and ensure that the client monitoring system is maintained. To keep abreast of developments within the sector and educate team members To have responsibility for control and administration of a portfolio of clients, dealing with clients directly and supporting the director/partner as second point of contact. To have responsibility for billing on delegated clients. Management and administrative duties to assist in departmental management and financial control. To review and control of technical content of work of others to ensure compliance with the audit manual, external audit and external agencies. To provide support in preparing and delivery of proposals and external presentations. To assist as head of internal audit in preparing and subsequently monitoring audit plans and programmes.
