Job Title:Credit Manager
Description:Credit Manager - Amersham, Buckinghamshire Key role within a corporate company in South Bucks. Responsible for proactively managing the debt and non -standard receivable accounts. Keeping them within the annual targets set and minimising the company's exposure to bad debt. The role will be responsible for a department of 5, managing, motivating, training, coaching and developing the team, whose main responsibility are to collect payment of due invoices from debtors. Maintaining and developing the Credit Policy. Implementing and regularly reviewing process and procedures to ensure that all the requirements of the company and external auditors are met. Obtaining settlements from customers on stop through Debt Collection Agent and also dealing with Claims through the County Court. Managing all debts when they are in receivership,liquidation or bankruptcy. Working with the other areas of the business,attending meetings, visiting major customers to discuss payment terms where they are not being met. Applicants need to be a qualified member Institute of Credit Management, have several years broad commercial experience in credit management role within a large company. Can show evidence of improving business performance through effective development and implementation of credit policies and procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills, confident, self motivated and with the ability to build good working relationships. A motivator of people and take an active interest in staff development as well as there own individual development.
Salary Range:31000 - 37321/annum
