Job Title:Pensions Administrator
Description:Pensions Administrator - London A challenging opening has arisen within this large in-house team that administers a range of Defined Benefit pensions schemes. You will be involved in cradle to grave administration whilst acting as supervisor to junior members of staff, ensuring the delivery of an excellent customer service. This role is available initially on an interim basis, but with the possibility of applying for a permanent position. Our client is seeking a competent and flexible pensions administrator to handle the calculation of benefits on early leaving, transferring out, retirement and death and related correspondence. You should be a highly effective communicator as you will deal with enquiries concerning scheme/member records. On a daily basis you will supervise voluntary contributions arrangements and transfers into the schemes. Additionally you will produce and check contribution statements for employers. Handling annual scheme renewals as well as organising bulk mail shots including annual benefit statements will be essential to this role. The ideal candidate will be IT proficient with the ability to operate the computer and manual systems smoothly. Ideally you will possess supervisory experience as you will be required to oversee junior pension assistants.
