Job Title:Pensions Fund Accountant/Pensions Accounts Manager
Description:Pensions Fund Accountant/Pensions Accounts Manager - Bedfordshire You will be working for this well-known, successful, market leading company in a key senior position within the in-house department. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely production of pension scheme accounts, managing the accounting team to ensure standards are maintained, liaising across the department, the company and with external advisors and providers. The role will be to oversee the accounts team to ensure that service level agreements and quality standards are met as well as ensuring regulations are adhered to. You will manage the workload, ensuing quarterly and annual accounts are produced to deadline, both statutory and company. You will be taking responsibility for people management including identifying any training needs, carrying out some of the training as relevant. To be successful you should have a relevant accountancy qualification as well as excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills. Ideally you will have gained relevant experience managing an accounting team or department with previous management duties. A current, detailed knowledge of accounting procedures and regulations is a prerequisite.
