Claims Section Leader
The efficient and effective handling of personal caseload of claims
Areas of Responsibility:
Composing and producing relevant letters, memos and other documentation (dictation service available).
Handling all aspects of Accidental Damage and Third Party Motor Claims, including credit hire, loss of earnings and personal injury (i.e. whiplash, broken bones etc).
AD Hoc or Additional:
The above represents the key areas of responsibility within your role. However you may be required to cover additional duties as and when needed.
Ability to work under own initiative and within a team
Ability to prioritise caseload and work under pressure and to deadlines
Common sense and ability to problem solve on an ad-hoc basis
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required
Maths GSCE Grade A-C (Desirable)
English GCSE Grade A-C (Desirable)
Insurance related qualification (Highly Desirable)
Computer literacy and keyboard skills (Essential)
Excellent communication skills (Essential)
Excellent customer service skills (Essential)
Excellent Negotiation skills (Essential)
Minimum 5 years handling all aspects of motor claims (Essential)
Experience of handling motor trade, self drive hire and private hire claims (Desirable).|
