Job Title:Purchase Ledger Clerk
Description:Purchase Ledger Clerk - Wokingham, Berkshire Our client who is a global leader in mobile computing is looking for an accounts payable clerk with a minimum 2 years experience. Also you will need to be fluent in german or italian, if you are fluent in french or spanish you could be considered. This is brilliant opportunity to work with an exceptional company with good training. To be responsible for all activities in Accounts Payable, including processing invoices for the company's entities throughout Europe and Middle East and Africa, dealing with foreign currency invoices and vendors, preparing and reconciling supplier statements, continuous review and improvements, including increasing efficiency of processing. Invoice processing (receiving and sorting invoices, obtaining authorisation and coding information). Other duties will include: Payment runs and manual payments Remittance advices Filing Ensuring that bank details are correct and facilitating any bank account amendments Resolving any queries with vendors, internal customers, bank Month-end reconciliations to General Ledger and review Supplier Statement Reconciliations Monthly review, identifying and reporting on issues eg old balances and debit balances Follow up to ensure prompt resolution of queries and issues You will need to have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
