Finance Analyst (Manufacturing) - Multinational Technology Products Manufacturer - Central Scotland - attractive salary and benefits
CLIENT – is a multinational technology products manufacturer with design, manufacturing (high mix and medium/high volume - broad range of manufacturing processes), and customer support operations in Scotland. Role – responsible for:-
•Reconciliation of weekly production attendance hours
•Weekly valuation of attendance hours
•Compilation and distribution of weekly departmental performance report
•Reconciliation of monthly direct labour payroll and preparation of alignment JV.
•AR/ACR processing pre COE project set-up.
•Monitoring of standard jv process
•Co-ordination of non-trade billing activity
•Ensure accuracy of Restaurant and MRO material charges to departments
•Supporting ACS COE in area of issue resolution and process improvements.
•Standard Cost setting/ estimation
•IPV / PPV analysis.
Person spec – higher weighting more important:-
•10 – Strong experience in a similar role
•10 – Experience within a manufacturing environment
•10 - Part qualified by CIMA/ACCA, actively working towards qualification
•10 - Working knowledge of standard costing systems
•10 - Experience of management accounting
•10 - Knowledge product costing/cost allocation models
•10 - Able to work and help develop within accounting function
•10 - Able to plan and organise workload to meet time schedules and deadlines
•10 - Strong IT skills and experience of Excel
•9 - Able to work pro-actively to develop opportunities for improvement
•9 - Strong Analytical skills
•9 - Enjoys being effective in a team environment, encouraging co-operation between individuals
•9 - Keeps focused on achieving results and meets commitments made to others
•9 - Self motivated and seeks out ways to improve how things are done
•8 - Hyperion/HFM/Oracle/Business Objects experience required but not essential
