An immediate opportunity has arisen for someone who has completed the early stages of a financial qualification, who is able to demonstrate some experience within a large organisation. You will be responsible for proactively collaborating with appropriate teams in Marketing and the Senior Budget Controller to understand and effectively communicate the key profit drivers for each business unit.
You will be providing UKD Sales and Marketing Management with a full and comprehensive service in relation to planning and expense reporting, providing regular reports and analysing expenses, highlighting areas of concern, proactively supporting the Senior Budget Controller in budget setting and monthly forecasting and encouraging tight budgetary control throughout UK Marketing and Distribution, with specialist focus on the Marketing Division.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial reporting standards, statutory accounting and key financials of a large business. You will need to have a broad awareness of the Financial Services industry and the regulatory environment. A systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving supported by strong interpersonal skills will be required. Advanced skills in Excel are a must, to include pivot tables, macros, formulae design and creation to aid complex data manipulation.
In additional to the salary the company offer an excellent benefits package to include; 22 days holiday per annum, Pension Scheme, Share Plans and subject to business needs the company operate flexible working practices. There is car parking on-site along with a subsidised restaurant. The working hours are 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm.|
