Our client based in Laindon, Essex, is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant who is proficient in Sage Accounting software.
The role will be divided between Purchasing, Sales and Administration, and main purchasing responsibilities will include raising purchase orders and faxing these to suppliers, posting delivery notes and posting purchase invoices against delivery notes. The sales aspect of the role will entail posting sales orders, raising delivery notes, creating sales invoices and raising credit notes. The administration function of the position will be to answer the phones and manage the post, respond to relevant queries from suppliers and customers, assist in the shipping and production departments when required, and any other relevant duties assigned.
All interested candidates must have advanced SAGE skills and previous experience within a similar role.
