An excellent opportunity to join a strongly committed team in a dynamic and challenging market As a Target Private Banking Manager
You will manage a designated portfolio of between 125 - 160 High Net Worth Target clients. These will be a mixture of existing clients with managed portfolios of £175k and above and new IPS clients with more than £250k of investable assets. You will also manage up to 50 banking only customers.
You will need to develop existing and new relationships, marketing the full range of products and services in order to achieve an acceptable level of profit, risk and return in line with agreed business plans and regulatory requirements.
As the clients’ needs are varied, you will need to match client requirements to a wide range of quality products, from banking, insurance, tax, wills, estates, trusts, specialist general insurance and alternative investments
You will also be involved as part of a team in franchise management to grow business levels in a proactive manner from a wide range of sources both internal and external.
Manage a designated portfolio of demanding ‘target’ customer relationships in order to identify and address customer needs, ensuring that the overall service provided is in line with customer expectations, and the terms of the service offer.
Review customer needs in order to determine their requirements and assess the need for marketing in line with Wealth Management strategy, recommending appropriate products and services to customers to ensure their requirements are met.
Act as a focal point for customers’ queries and liaise as a matter of urgency with all parts of the Bank’s domestic and international networks to resolve difficulties in order to ensure first class standards of service.
Prepare customer plans to ensure each relationship is managed according to the customers’ needs and potential, regularly reviewing the customer portfolio to assess future needs and ongoing fee potential.
If appropriate to the offer, ensure the contracted banking service is provided to all relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Ensure effective use and maintenance of Bank’s systems and procedures including compliance with the Bank’s Books of Instruction as well as all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
Where appropriate, supervise, motivate, develop and appraise team members so that their performance is both compliant and of the required standard providing advice, guidance and support.
To maintain and regularly satisfy the regulations regarding continuing competence to advise.

3 years previous Wealth Management Experience
