Job Title:Claims Administrator
Description:Claims Administrator - Kingston upon Thames, Surrey Our client based in Feltham is a well known organisation in the logistics and transportation industry. They are looking to take on a suitable candidate for a 6 month contract in a Claims Administrator role. Salary: £17,500 Job Description 1.MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB •To handle insurance claims for and against the Company. 2.POSITION IN ORGANISATION •Reports to the Head of Claims •Liases with all levels within the Company, customers and department suppliers. 3.SCOPE OF JOB 3.1Claims Input 3.2Claims handling 3.3Reporting 3.4Department development 3.5Health & safety 4.DIMENSIONS AND LIMITS OF AUTHORITY •Authorised to handle insurance claims for / against the Company to including taking legal action, where the Company's exposure for property damage claims does not exceed £3,000. 5.QUALIFICATIONS •GCSE or equivalent grades A to C in English and Mathematics. 6.EXPERIENCE •Minimum 2/3 years experience of claims handling in third party / motor claims. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Experience in a role requiring a high degree of organisation, control and accuracy. •Ability to handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy. •Ability to follow routine procedures effectively at pace. •Computer experience in Microsoft Word & Excel.
