Description:Accounts Clerk - Redhill, Surrey, Surrey Accounts Clerk Accounts Payable 16500, 25 Days Holiday, Company Pension Scheme The Company My client is a leading engineering manufacturer and service provider employing over 500 people across the UK and Europe. Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking to take on an experienced Accounts Clerk. The Job Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be processing Supplier invoices. Key Responsibilities will include; Clearing supplier invoices for payment by using the Cincom stores vouchering system or by obtaining written authorisation from relevant personnel Inputting Accounts Payable invoices onto Cincom computer system Filing Accounts Payable invoices Liaising with Stores, Purchasing and Suppliers to resolve queries Ensure that relevant SOX controls are strictly complied with The Person The ideal candidate will come into contact with all levels of internal personnel and suppliers representatives and should have the following skills and experience; 5 GCSEs including English & Maths 2 years previous accounts experience Good telephone manner Team Player Approachable Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel both internally and externally The following experience is desirable although not essential; previous accounts payable experience, relevant VAT knowledge, experience of processing invoices in foreign currencies This vacancy is being advertised by Zebra Recruitment.
