My client based in Surrey is currently seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator to provide leadership and bring experience to a team of administrators to ensure work is completed in line with service level agreements and to provide optimum levels of customer service to the client and member in terms of quality cost and time.
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
To create and maintain consistent and accurate scheme records using the appropriate systems (Hartlink and Caselink).
To have excellent knowledge of and ability to use the internal systems effectively
To have in depth technical pensions knowledge to cover both DB and DC schemes (where applicable).
To make every effort to ensure the contracted performance targets and quality standards are met.
To support and assist the Team managers and senior management team.
To be responsible for checking calculations and processes as required.
To have some responsibility for organising the work of the administrators.
Mentoring subordinates and identify training needs to ensure staff achieve their full potential.
To participate in and promote good team communication.
To provide excellent customer service to all clients, members and third parties.
To complete all tasks using best practice.
To build and maintain personal development file.
To identify, evaluate and report risks to your line manager or the Operational Risk & Compliance Manager.
To make suggestions for improvement and complete preventive actions in order to comply with the Quality Management Standard and reduce potential complaints.
To comply with FSA and Pensions Regulations (where applicable).
Your must have extensive experience within Pensions Administration (defined contribution). Ideally studying for/or willingness to study for QPA/PMI qualifications. Working closely with the Pensions Manager, your responsibilities will include liaising with internal and external pension coordinators in relation to general queries and coordinating paperwork accordingly. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be considered for this role.
