In this outstanding opportunity the credit controller will gain practical experience of managing the settlement of very high value invoices for high profile clients (e.g. Major Corporations, Entrepreneurs, Celebrities, High Net worth Individuals) whilst being supported by the Company to develop professionally with the ICM qualification and regular training workshops (e.g. communication skills, conflict management, relationship management). For language enthusiasts, the Company even hosts language training lessons at lunchtime, which are very popular!
It is a challenging and stimulating business to business credit controller role in which no two client contracts are the same, and invoices are detailed and complex. There is therefore a real account management aspect to this job, with good relationship building skills being the key to success.
You will take ownership of part of the growing UK, Ireland and international English speaking sales ledger; around 300 live accounts.
Part of a credit team of 5 you will focus on top level client accounts, billed monthly, for high value collections. The primary focus will be on cash flow, achieving collection targets and aged debtor reporting. You will also be heavily involved in reconciliation and resolving outstanding queries, which will require investigation.

·Cover for cash receipting & allocation & bank reconciliation
·Occasional ad-hoc, non-account, one -off invoicing
***The Right Person***
The Credit Controller will be working within a growing credit control team. We require someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and has exceptional organisational skills, good attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to remain calm within a highly pressurised environment.
The ideal person will have credit control experience gained in a prestigious company or business sector, possibly a blue chip company, corporate consulting, business solutions or a professional services environment. What is most important is a polished and professional attitude. Strong reconciliation skills are required. It is an advantage to be an active studier or to be motivated to start the ICM qualification.
·At least 2-3 years experience in credit control function
·Previous experience of the Great Plains system is an advantage
·Confident in / good experience of using Excel spreadsheets
·Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
·Strong reconciliation skills
·Strong team player
·Able to work in a constantly changing environment
·Be comfortable working in a dynamic, cosmopolitan working environment.
·Fluent Italian and English is required.
·It is advantage to also speak either German or Russian or Portuguese or Spanish.
The salary on offer is negotiable in the range of £26,000 - £28,000 + bonus up to 12.5% of salary!. Institute of Credit Management (ICM) qualifications are supported.
