Job Title:Pensions Administrator
Description:Pensions Administrator - London, London Making standard documents scheme specific, and incorporate them into existing procedures. Monitor ongoing procedural developments. First level checking on all work. To have intermediate knowledge of their clients and schemes. Training and mentoring of more junior members of staff. Taking responsibility for ad-hoc projects and exercises. Experience gained in the administration of DB and DC Schemes, including leavers, retirements, deaths, transfers in, transfer out, monthly processing and investment, benefit statements, renewals and pension increases. Experience of current pensions legislations and framework is essential. Extensive knowledge of Finance & Pensions Act 2004 and impact on administration. Third party pensions administration experience preferred, although strong all round experience within an in house pensions department, which is not purely process driven will be considered. Able to demonstrate a numerical aptitude evidenced by relevant academic achievements or equivalent work related experience. Educated to A level standard or equivalent ideally in a Mathematical related subject. In addition to GCSE or equivalent in English at Grade B or above is required. Ideally studying for/or willingness to study for QPA/PMI qualifications.
