Job Title:Payroll Clerk (12 months maternity cover)
Description:Payroll Clerk (12 months maternity cover) - London, London Payroll Clerk (12 months maternity cover) London 22K pro rata Exciting opportunity for a Payroll Clerk with a minimum of 12 months payroll experience to join a leading company where you can develop your knowledge, skills and experience. To cover the normal day to day Payroll function for (approx. 760 employees), this could include the following areas, Administration and final payment for leavers; Calculating Termination payments, The administration of new joiners, To process authorised payroll documentation for both temporary and permanent changes on a monthly basis; To load permanent overtime accurately in to the Payroll system and carry out a full reconciliation. Input SMP/SSP/SAP/SPPA Manual Calculations; Preparation of manual payments, cheques/TT's; To assist with the main payroll input where required; Dealing with queries from all staff about all aspects of their pay; Mortgage references; Liasing with the Inland Revenue and DSS; Payroll Filing; You will require good inter-personal and communication skills with good computer skills to include Word, Excel. Must be up-to-date on current PAYE, NI, SMP/SSP legislation and have experience with Centrefile/Peoplesoft a distinct advantage as would previous experience of working in an international environment.
