This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to progress your career as a HR Advisor within the financial services sector. You will have a proven track record and be part of fully CIPD qualified. You will be expected to undertake the following duties in a competent & professional manner;
Provide professional advice and guidance to managers, team leaders and employees
Advise on disciplinary, grievances and probationary matters
Support managers in formal meetings such as return to work following sickness meetings, review of long/short term sickness, probationary interview, grievance meeting, disciplinary hearings
To represent HR at department staff meetings
To monitor appraisals and development of staff
To monitor sickness and timekeeping
To identify policies and procedures that require updating to ensure compliance with employment legislation
To oversee administration resulting from HR issues
To oversee H & S issues
You will have demonstrated the following skills and experience;
Interpersonal skills to maintain an effective relationship with key stakeholders
Ability to influence others positively
Ability to gather and process information
Ability to work under the guidance of a number of colleagues
Skills at expressing ideas clearly in writing
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload.
Good understanding of employment law and its application
Approachable and able to put people at their ease and inspire confidence
Excellent computer skills Windows software packages (word processing, databases, spreadsheets)
Good communication and interpersonal skills including sensitivity and understanding of problems relating to individuals/teams/departments
Confidence to make an effective contribution to the team
Experience of handling disciplinaries up to and including dismissal is essential.
