EXCITING OPPORTUNITY in Brighton!!!!
Corporate Risk Management adviser role.
Providing administrative support to the head of CRM and the CRM practice, as directed. To communicate with the head of department in respect of daily activities of the department and the business, as appropriate. To provide diary management to the head of department in a professional and effective manner, in conjunction with the head of department. Help to deliver CRM team objectives
The key responsibilities:
•To contribute and support the design, development and implementation of admin-related projects/services required to achieve departmental objectives
•To liaise with human resources in relation to the setting up of interviews and confirming requirements in terms of interviewers, papers etc
•To co-ordinate meetings and diary events, on behalf of and in conjunction with the head of department, with internal and external contacts
•To escalate high priority issues as required
•To organise travel arrangements for the department, as required
•To schedule and record all staff absences, planned and unplanned, for sign-off by the practice manager
•To screen incoming telephone calls on behalf of the head of department and liaise accordingly
•To suggest relevant improvements to team admin processes
•To maintain filing systems, preferably in electronic format, as directed
•To contribute to knowledge management process
•To maintain and update corporate risk management approved projects list and programme
•To promote high standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
•Other ad-hoc duties as required, including hands-on support in meeting the corporate risk management practice objectives
Ability to plan, priortise, schedule work details and progress project to completion in short periods. Good IT skills (MS Office). Ability to demonstrate gravitas in external meetings. Knowledge of Pensions industry and regulations & experience in the finance/legal industries is an advantage. Felxibility and openness in working with different teams and backgrounds.
