Job Title:Paraplanner - Chartered Accountants - Newcastle-up
Description:Paraplanner - Chartered Accountants - Newcastle-up - Tyne and Wear, North The Role - To work in conjuction with a small team of highly experienced IFA's, providing technical new business support - The duties will involve carrying out details analysis of clients existing financial situation and investment portfolios - Preperation of full recommendations and suitability report, ahead of new products being recommended and arranged - To provide all of the supporting detail and documentation Responsibilities - Provide a level of support to assist IFAs meeting their own client servicing standards and new business targets - Manage the day to day compliance functions - Analyse current procedural and software systems, to look for ways to implement improvements - Research the market place to establish, then maintain access to suitable products. Part of this area will be expected to include direct contact with providers to maintain awareness of continued suitability of products Types of Business - To specialise in Trusts, Tax and Inheritance Tax Planning Qualifications - Minimum of FPC3 (or equivalent) and either possession G10 or working towards J01 & J02 - Experience of writing Trust/IHT recommendations would be advantageous - Experience preferred of software systems, primarily 1st Sotware Essential Qualities - The role is viewed as being an integral part of the development plan for the department. The long term growth plan depends on an increasing level of technical support. We are therefore looking for someone who can demonstrate a long term commitment to our plans - Must demonstrate a high level of self organisational ability and be able to work under own initiative and sometimes under pressure. A pragmatic approach and ability to solve problems is essential. Remuneration - Salary level is negotiable but it is expected to be in the region of 20,000 - You will also receive a discreationary annual bonus - Holidays are 20 days to start with and you can also work flexible hours outside of the normal 9 to 5.
