We are currently recruiting for a General Ledger Accountant who speaks fluent German, based within our new European Shared Services Centre at Pinewood Studios. As one of three GL Accountants and reporting into the GL Manager, you will be responsible for the integrity of the GL, balance sheet analysis, report generation and statutory returns for several European entities.
Duties will include:
Working with the Disbursements team to ensure integrity and consistency of coding.
Ensuring all activities are managed within service levels and under Sarbanes-Oxley rules.
Calculating accruals and pre-payments whilst coordinating inputs from Cost Centre Managers.
Preparing and reviewing journals.
Coordinating preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensuring up-to-date knowledge of compliance rules for relevant countries.
Preparing periodic VAT reports.
Preparing annual accounts.
Preparing annual tax return information packs.
Managing distribution of management reports.
Contributing to forecasting and budgeting processes.
ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified and with experience in accounting, you will possess sound financial accounting, budgeting and reporting skills along with a commercial acumen and the dynamics to assist in driving forward newly established processes and change within a new Shared Service function. European exposure/Shared Service experience and must be able to speak German fluently.
|Salary Range:||£28000 - £38000/annum|
