Our client a top 10 accountancy practice with offices throughout the UK seeks a degree educated ACA/ACCA PQ Auditor who posses a minimum of 1.5 years practical experience with a Big 4 or Top 10 Accountancy practice join their team based in Gatwick.
To be considered for this post all applicants should have the following skills and exp:
A minimum of 1.5 years Practical experience
Big 4 or Top 10 Accountancy Practice Experience
ACA/ACCA part Qualified
Previous supervisory experience benefitial
IT literate and receptive to new IT developments
Large company audits experience
You should also be able to demonstrate that you can think logically and independently when carrying out assignments, make balanced decisions, work effectively and calmly under pressure, are organised and efficient, procaine in approach to work, have the ability to make decisions that are both technically 'correct' and commercially sound and the ability to demonstrate tact, diplomacy and clear thinking
You must also demonstrate that you have a high level of self motivation with a good team spirit
Our client will also be looking for individuals that can demonstrate their excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, their ability to understand clients` businesses, ability to multi-task, strong organisational skills and be able to Manage a number of projects effectively
The Gatwick office has approximately 100 staff (including fee earners, non-fee earners, graduate trainees to partner levels) and is one business unit operating from locations in Brighton and Crawley.
The Crawley location, near Gatwick Airport, houses the Assurance, Tax, Corporate Finance and administrative/ support functions (85+ staff in total).
The Brighton location is home to part of our national Corporate Recovery team which comprises approximately 20 personnel.
The Gatwick Audit team has approximately 35 staff ranging from Partners and Managers to Supervisors, seniors and Trainees who provide audit and assurance services to Mid-Corporate through to AIM and fully listed companies. Industries serviced include; financial services, healthcare; manufacturing; construction; property; high-tech and mining/extraction.
There is a high number of national and international secondments being arranged thus requiring additional staff to expand the team.
