Accounts Assistant required for a law firm in Oxford. Based within the Finance Team you will be involved in dealing with professional staff on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will Ideally have 1-2 years experience within a similar accounts role, preferably legal or professional services looking for the next move to gain further experience.
This vacancy would also suit someone who is looking for a less demanding accounts role perhaps following a career break.
Your duties will entail:
? Daily banking
? Cheque runs
? Clearing file balances
? Transfer funds between different accounts
? General accounts queries from internal clients
? Petty cash
? Daily balancing
? Invoice queries
Excellent Communication skills are fundamental to the vacancy, as it will involve advising internal clients regarding all accounts queries.
A Diplomatic manner and approach when dealing with both internal clients and other colleagues within the accounts team is important.
Must have a hands-on multi-skilled approach to every day tasks within the oxford accounts team. This role would suit someone who wants to make the role his or her own and is motivated and loyal. The job will demand the flexibility to enable the team to meet deadlines.
