Description:Audit Senior Manager - London - South East, London, , London Audit Senior Manager - London - Min £65,000 plus bens Our client is a UK 'top ten' accountancy and business advisory group, with 28 offices and 1,500 staff throughout the UK. Was the first company in the accounting sector to become a plc. This commercial experience helps them to understand the pressures in today's business world, enabling them to develop a more creative and relevant range of business solutions. An Audit Senior Manager is required in their London office working within the business Services group. The purpose of this role will be to: Manage a group of staff from trainee to qualified level in order to complete various audit and accounts preparation assignments Manage a portfolio of clients in respect of their audit and accounts requirements and any other requirements they may have Progress to RI level As an Audit Senior Manager your Principal Responsibilities will be: Managing client and third party relationships from initial set up meetings Liaising with other accountants, to on going service issues: building trust and monitoring service standards: responding quickly to client needs. Providing accounting solutions through knowledge of UK and international accounting standards so those clients can manage their businesses in the most effective way. Profitable development of business by assisting in the winning of new clients: cross selling additional services and introducing other service lines: securing ongoing and recurring work from clients. Managing a team by scheduling, supervising and reviewing work to ensure appropriate standard. Coaching and developing and conducting appropriate reviews and appraisals. Managing value and avoiding risk through timely planning and resourcing, appropriate researching and billing work in progress. Reporting to directors, managing within authority limits, reporting appropriate results and statistics, attending management meetings etc. Your Accountabilities/Key Performance Indicators are as follows: Client deadlines are met or exceeded (client awareness and service, listening, planning and organising) High quality accounting service provided to all clients (client awareness and service, technical) WIP process managed effectively ensuring department remains within budget (planning and organising, management control) and assistance with debt collection when needed Team development (team working, staff development) To be considered for this post all applicants should: Be CA/ACCA qualified with post qualification experience Be motivated to provide the highest quality service to clients through effective management of the team Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to liaise with people at all levels Demonstrate excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively for self and other members of the team Demonstrate Strong people management skills In return you will receive an attractive salary starting from £65,000 plus benefits Additional Resources Ltd is an Employment Business and an Employment Agency as defined within The Conduct of Employment Agencies & Employment Businesses Regulations 2003
